To my dear family.

To my dearest family,

You are my greatest treasure. Dad, you have taught me to persevere where circumstances were the least motivating. You have shown me what it means to work hard, to be humble and to get recognized for your ability to learn and to teach. You have demonstrated to me the patience that is required of not only a father of four daughters, but as a human being. I am grateful for you. Mom, you are the rock of the family. A living example of what it means to love unconditionally and to endure — to endure in the worst of times and to rejoice in the best of times. You are the epitome of a teacher, constantly trying to learn so you can teach us how to love ourselves, how to improve, how to elevate and how to achieve one’s own definition of success. I am grateful for you. Ale, you are a shining star. Everyday, you reveal to me what it means to be on the “pursuit of happiness.” You illustrate to me the joys of self-discovery and the results of working hard. Your strong sense of self is admirable, along with your capability to conquer anything you choose to set your mind to. I am thankful for you. Diani, you are a wonder. I see myself in you. You are crazy, loving and ever so understanding. For your kind reassurance in times of question, I am in eternal appreciation. You bring me joy in all moments of time with your natural wit and desire to make a good situation great. I look up to your steady example of simply living. You are of divine worth. Bella, you have taught me plenty. With you, I have practiced a mother’s love. You amaze me with your endless skills and talents. You are strong, courageous and extremely capable. I am blessed to still witness that child like innocence. You are beautiful. For your reliance on me, I am happy.

My cherished family.
